Who should attend this program?
This program is for any child who is eager to learn. The goal is to decrease any regression over the summer, so children will continue to build more language and reading skills to help them be at advantage when school begins.
What time does camp start and end?
Camp starts at 9:00 and ends at 3:30. Drop off starts at 8:30. We offer after care for $60 from 3:30 to 5:00 for the entire week or you can pay for the number of days you will need for the week instead.
What fees are required to save my spot?
To reserve your spot, 50% of the total cost is required at registration; the remainder must be paid by June 1, 2025. The deposit is non-refundable. Failure to pay the remaining balance by June 1 will forfeit your spot to those on the waiting list.
Are children required to be potty-trained?
Yes, all children must be potty trained and able to dress and feed themselves without assistance.
How will you handle behaviors?
Behaviors will be monitored closely, to allow all children and staff to be safe.
How will the early bird pricing be applied?
Early bird pricing is until March 15, 2025. This applies to the deposit or when paying the full amount. Early bird pricing does not apply after March 15th. For example, if you pay $212.50 for weeks 2 and 3 on March 13th, that price increases to $225 for the remaining balance when paying after March 15th.
Refund Policy & Cancellation Poligy
The deposit can be refunded up to April 1, 2025. After April 1st to June 1st, a refund of 50% will be granted. Federal workers may receive a refund of 50% off up to June 23, 2025. There are no refunds for any missed days during the week, not unless Capital Reading Club has an emergency.
Drop off and pick up policy
Adults are required to sign children in and not. Please bring a form of ID for pickup. No more than 3 people are allowed to do pickup. If your child needs to leave early, please let the staff know at drop off, call, or send an email so your child is ready.
Are there any discounts?
We offer an early bird discount for $425 until March 15, 2025, a multiple sibling discount for 10% off, and members of Purity Baptist will receive 12% off.
What should my child bring each day?
Children should bring lunch, water, and 1-2 snacks. Rising kindergartners should bring a change of clothes just in case they have an accident. Please leave any toys or games at home. Staff will let you know if any supplies can be brought in for the weekly project..
