Summer Camp
Rising Kindergarteners to Rising Third Graders
Capital Reading Club is a program designed by speech-language pathologist Johnetta Hammonds, who has over 15 years of experience working with children. The program’s mission is to improve children’s understanding of language, verbal expression, and reading skills by using multiple modalities to increase learning retention.

Weekly Themes
Each week, kids will complete activities ranging from creating costumes to creating their own story model based on the weekly theme. Kids will engage in the following themes:
